keeping cats and raccoons out

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Im going to be building a pond with lots of racoons around and also kids who will want to play near it so electric, alligators definately out of the question I have tried the sprinkler system for plants is extremely annoying an inefficient.

Ive heard that if you put shelfs for the fish to hide under as well that would keep the racoons out as well?

Tell that to my best friends cat who lives outside and hunts the neighborhood bringing back small koi, lizards, and mice frequently. The cats loc.

Raccoons are too smart of animals for this to be a problem where you set something up once and don't have to worry about it again.. sorry. Good luck.

get a flathead catfish...dont feed it for a month and see how long them critters last at the pond!

you can get small (first pic) and they get huge! (second pic) that ones about 2.5ft but they get alot bigger
