I didn't think this was possible??
Can you keep them with other fish and who on here does??
Maybe those tank mates are just expensive feeders.
I am intersted to here from people who have tried keep or keep Micopeltes with other fish.

I have tried this combo many times but it's always a failure in the long run.

I expect the snake head chomped the CK.
Did you ever keep two snake heads together?
The two in the picture obviously have grow quite large without snapping "yet".

It might be possible, but I think the behavior of SH in a species tank is way more interessting anyway

i can more or less garrentie , that did not work long time . it has been tryed hundreds of times and probably will be tryed a hundred more by people who think well mine seams ok , ill be allright , i admit to being one of those people my self in the past. but you cannot beet natural instinct ,those fish are prime micro food .

it is like putting a big candy in front of big mamma and trusting her not to eat it , she may not eat it straight away but she is going to eat it ,that is garrentied

cheers col

Yes I did keep 2 and even 3 to 4 and they don't snap at each other except other species of snakehead or other fish. They stayed together for 4 years, till I sold them as I can no longer provide a proper tank and food for them.

iv seen a video of the micro and silver arowana together

It's one of those 1 in a million cases when it actually works permanently..
