keeping cichlids in a outside pool

i have a little 8ft by 18in kids pool and i was wondering will it be ok to keep my jag in there to grow out for the summer it has no filter.

watch out for raccoons. i wouldn't do it unless it was 3' deep and i would still be uncertain. also you probably need some type of filtration.

Yeah I would be cautious with the wild life that would snatch them like the raccoons or birds.

no i can't put a filter on it. for as racoon what if i put a top on it? its only for the summer

You would have to secure it very well which then you would make it hot in the pool.I've heard racoons are crafty critters.

Add dovii and u won't have that problem
