Keeping Discus with Wolffish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh and what about wolffish with bichirs and large plecos?
Wolves and bichirs work great. However plec you may wanna skip. Usually kill bichirs due to sucking in their slime coat, and some can be territorial. Don’t want it poking anyone’s eyes out.

Yes i did have an issues with my red wolf BUT i still wouldnt label any one fish non compatible because of one experience.
All fish are different. I had two issues. Once it was clearly defending its self the second time i honestly dont know what provoked the attack.

so basically, what you're saying is, because discus are essentially a very round fish fillet, and wolffish are hit or miss, with VARYING personalities. although their rep is not completely unfounded that they will try to take a stab at whatever is infront of them. but yea i got it now, im not gonna put any wolf with my discus or unless im feeling very lucky and or want to see some fish on fish action.

ALL fish have varying personalities.

U think polys and wolves are a great combo

I currently have a 250 gallon with 10 discus, 2 bichirs and 2 plecos. So i was thinking to offload discus and get myself a wolf. And yes fish do have varying personalities. I somehow managed this combo without a hitch.
