Keeping fish and being Mathematically challenged

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My cats are really convincing, I see how comfy they look and can't help but to conform - and I rarely conform to anything haha

It also helps that I'm only a parent to fur and fin babies, not people ones ;)

Me too. Problem is I'm just too busy if I sleep I don't get to do all the other stuff I was meaning to get around to doing.
I did sleep in this morning though cause I sometimes need to catch up on resting. After that I washed 80 lbs of pool filter sand that I have been trying to get to for two weeks noe but every time I get the time to do it It's late and I'm to damn tired to do it. Now I need to fill up my 50G tall tank and let it cycle though that won't take long since I had the filtering media in my other tanks.

I'm so glad that I have to save up more before doing anything like that! Lol

I'm also starting to dread the awesome idea of eventually setting up a large tank (biggest I have now is 410ltrs) because of exactly that! Granted my hubby will likely do most of it but still... I don't exactly like the idea of him doing heaps (or so I tell him) because he's getting old (or so I tell him) hahaha

Post Script: For anyone wondering he's 27. :)

I know a 50G isn't very big but it's the biggest tank I have had yet. It's freaking expensive to setup up a bigger tanm lol. I would love to have a 500l tank not sure about what G that is, then I can have my Black Ghost knife fish at last. Maybe even a tyre track eel.
After this tank my next project will be a breeding rack for my guppies and then a 300l, 2m long bookshelf tank, already have the plans drawn out. I try to do everything self but my dad usually helps with the calculations and if I need more man power my hubby will help otherwise. They usually just give me advice on the stuff that has everything to do with construction and tools then I take it from there. I'm a tomboy type of girl in a certain sense, lol which has given my husband a couple of panicked facial expression when I get to work =D

Join the club, if you check out the other pets section you'll find a thread about my cats and the pen my hubby made them, I made the inside bit (with his help) and omg idk how many times he crapped himself during that process hahaha

Hello: Is this perhaps another of your interesting phrases and not to be taken literally?
Yes, not literal. It basically means he got scared a few times. :)

Also, thank you for helping with the epic derail :D

Lol, Lady Sphinx Lady Sphinx look on gumtree. lots of people sell 2metre tanks for good prices.

I missed out on a 560 litre with a canister for R1000 because my unit wouldn't be able to support it :(

P predatorkeeper87 they are the dwarf species

Hello; Glad to be of service although it was not by intent. Being at the third stage of old guy disease I was interested. In case you are curious the first stage is to forget names. the second stage in to forget things like phone numbers. the third stage is to forget to zip up. The fourth stage, which I do hope to avoid a while longer, is to forget to zip down,
