No, I'm the black sheep. There's a learn to swim program down here that starts around age 8 (I think) where the kids go to the pool and "professional" swim instructors teach the kids to swim. Even they couldn't teach me.

Learn to swim made me think of the Tool song aenima. Any tool fans on here?

Hello; I can swim, poorly. I can float OK. Not swimming good enough to get the swimming and the lifesaving merit badges is what kept me from becoming an eagle scout. Only made it to life.

Hello; I do not go to Dollywood. May be I am too old. I like the national park and have visited many times. I use to camp near Cades Cove (Now that I think about it, has been almost 30 years ago.) They did close the loop road to cars so bicycles can use it, I hope they still do.
I go to Pigeon Forge three times a year for the Rod Runs. I go the Townsend TN in the spring.

I went once with my friends to Dollywood, they have a little theater in the park for shows. Dolly Parton surprised the crowd and just randomly walked out and EVERYONE stood at once. It was kind of cultish and creepy.

Hello; Ha. Ha. I understand that one. Was married to one. I think it means a female who can cloud the mind of young males into thinking they are actually worth being around. The effect last just long enough to spoil your life. As far as I know can only be cured by divorce and time or either meeting another one.

Hello; My best estimate from 32 years as a teacher is now up to 40%.

I did note the number of such increased after the paddle was taken away from teachers. For several years I had no real discipline issues in my classes. Only had to use the paddle a little. It was amazing how tapping a paddle on my desk could focus the mind of a student. Among the last years of my teaching experience nearly all forms of effective discipline tools had been taken away from teachers.

In NC I was often called a mother _ _ _ _er to my face in the classroom. I would write the students up (My only discipline option). The principal called me in after a time and explained as how I was "too thin skinned".

A sook is basically a crybaby, only instead of crying, I complain and whine about things.

Maybe I should try scuba diving, sinking would be a helpful skill to have would it not?
