I have had two ngt's together for about a month. One is about 5'' and the other 4''. Up until last night they were fine. A little fighting...not much. But last night the bigger guy has just been beating the piss outta the little one. So I seperated them. Has anyone else had this issue? And will the bigger of the two chill out if I add another ngt or two?

i had 2 AT's, 2 IT's, and 1 NTT. the 2 silvers went at it constantly and so did the 2 IT's but no one messed with the NTT so i kept him and got rid of the rest. i'd say add more.

should have done your research before you got 2 x NGT

its near imposable to keep 2 in the same tank unless you have a massive tank 350 gal + or their is a massive size difference like one is 3 inch the other is 10 inch

NGT are the most aggressive tiger and will not tolerate their own kind

Ya I know...T1. I got thrown a good deal and took it. I have them seperated now.

So can I add other species of dats w/ my solo NGT's?

yes you can

but the NGT will always be the boss

NTT seam to mix well with every kind of tiger

i have a 18 inch ST with a 5inch NTT and a 4inch NGT no problems

Sounds good. Thanks t1. I am on the look out for st's. IT's are thinbars right. And AT's are silvers. What are NTT's?

NTT are thin bars
IT are the ones that are close to ST
AT are the silver brackish water type

you should be ok with IT or NTT try to get them bigger than the NGT and you should be fine

odd numbers for NGT...

tryed that it doesnt work

it may work when they are small but once they get to 7 inch they will kill each other off i had 7 then 6 then 5 then 4 then sold them before anymore deaths

^ same deal. I had 11 all together and their will always be a alpha and a pecking order. One will slowly be bulleid until it stops eating and has to be seperated and given special care.
