Keeping plants down

What are some simple ways to keep them down? it took me 20mins to rut a plant that keep getting away from me when i went to spreed the gravel over the roots... and still wasn't able to cover all the ruts.

After putting it into the substrate, lightly pack the substrate around it, that usually works for me. Some stubborn plants get put in side ways, and then I let them straighten themselves out. :thumbsups:

one thing i found is to make sure your substrate is deep. i plant them just like i would outside. dig a hole put it in and pack the gravel around it.

What kind of plants do you have? Stem plants are the ones that give me the most trouble, but I find that they do well when you stick part of the stem down into the substrate.

two Swords. i have small small grain stuff. its just gravel... cant pack them that good. and its about an inch and a half in some places give or take.
