Keeping RBP at a higher temperature

They would be good. Just keep the water well aerated. As for cooling, you can freeze plastic bottles and throw them in the tank.

To elaborate on how to get their bellies more red. Their diet is the way. I've had mine for a month now and they doubled in size to 3 inches now. I've been feeding mostly krill, also bloodworms, color flakes/pellets, superworms. If your fish are big enuff to feed shrimp (with the shell on), this will help with color also. Remember to keep a variety of food and they will be fine and look fine. I hope to post some updated pics in my gallery soon.
 
keep the temp between 76-82 maybe 84 if your trying to fight disease.

88 is way too high
