Keeping Ropes

Treat it just like a bichir with a small head. In other words, make sure the shrimp/nightcrawlers, etc that you feed it, are small enough to be eaten without having to struggle with it too much.

Do they really need a tank in excess of 210gal..that seems huge for them..i know they could possibly grow to max of 36 inches but not usually in home aquariums.DO they get thick as well? Mine is doing great but they grow slowly ..long and skinny.. you need to have every open space on the tank covered.. just did not think the tank needed to be that big.. heres a pic of mine..
