what kind of filtration are you setting up with your tank anyways?
Ah !!!! Joe it came with two 75 gal wet dry's and two Mak 5 pumps each rated at 1690 gph each wet dry looks to have about 30 gallons of bio .I think in time here i will change out the two Mak 5's and run one pent Air pool pump more efficient and mot to mention Waaay more flow .Also been looking at a sand filtration from Evolution pond products they also have a new piece of equipment that is a plastic molded one piece unit called the CETUS SIEVE it works super simply off of gravitational feed with a bowed perferated piece of metal so all the poop slides down into a little tray you can just wipe out supposed to pre filter down to a micron level i just can't remember right now but pretty slick.A pretty good alternitive to back washing a sand filter all the time but kinda pricey too new tecnolagy will cost ya always. So thats the way i will keep it and ad one of the two from evolution:headbang2:headbang2

ahhhh... sounds like you have everything covered.

I've always been a fan of utilizing Aqua Ultima II's alongside a Sump Set up.

As an FYI there is a Fish Store by my place called Rainbow Pets. They have the Aqua Ultima II 4000 for $450....great price considering what they go for brand new.

No, I've only had experience with Aquaultraviolet products.
Well thanks joe .I was just wondering because a guy at a pond place where i live was really exited and was really talking up the quality about the evolution products and the price for new evolution sand filter was that of the used Ultima .But sometimes well most of the time you get what you pay for ....Also thats what Cj runs the Ultima II...sooo i better really think about this and not go cheap just cuz it's cheap....

A Ferrari wouldn't be a Ferrari if it had a Fiero engine...lol

You get what you pay for is spot on. My experience with Aquaultraviolet products has always been A+, from UV to Ultima's II. In addition to their customer support is awesome. Great experience with them as well.
