Kelberi 2"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeh ^^^ they are pretty small.. how are they going now?

They were being chased by my zullies for a while. I turned off all my light and gradually turned them back on. I also rearranged my tank a little bit to offset their territorial sense. They're all doing fine now. All 5 ate and happy along with the rest of "friends".

that is a very true statement from the first batch when I got one Kelberi. I now have 5 from the newest batch at 2" and they seem different in behavior. they reacted well to the bloodworms but did not digest them. they are so small that I had to get guppies b/c i was afraid another day with my work schedule and they would be in bad shape. they are very aggressive to the feeders and everyone is eating well. I went with 5 kelberi only because of the fact that their behavior is much different then most peacocks, which is fine with me. they are unique and I think will do very well together. I would love to have nice big kelberis with no aggression issues.

Please enjoy the pics and notice the great colors at this small of a size. One thing I am excited about is getting this species at such a small size and getting them acclimated to tank life and food early. I hope to have early bloomers instead of late starters.

they look good at this size!

Rapps' kelberi in the tank for about 3 hours. They hit guppies hard, as many of you know. I used a flashlight for some backlighting and they gold sparkles in these fish are amazing. Can't see it in this pic....sorry for the poor quality, but I had to share!
