kelberi lovers.. what do you think about these guys?

All of this kelberi research makes me really question what I have. All of the pictures, while they show spotted anal and ventral fins, none are nearly as heavily spotted as mine.

Even Joey's have small spots that seem to cover just the rear portion of the fin as oposed to the entire fin.

Im still just hoping that the Kelberi that came out of that first shipment start to show spots on the fins as they mature, but im not holding my breath. Mine shows absolutely no signs of any spangling on the body, or the anal or pelvic fins. Nor do these new ones that have come available. Gold outlining the 2nd and 3rd bar, and the horizontal tail bar. Thats it. Im probably just being impatient but ive seen pics of other Kelberi the size of mine and there was no hiding the spots on the fins and body.

in the past i was always told that kelberis start to show color around 10 inches. scat you guys are just top notch, now its time for you to stop bragging about how nice your cichla are because we already know, we have eyes you know how about some updated pics scat

i HOPE they turn out to be what they say they are..THAT is why Ive decided to not "jump" on the kelberi bandwagon intill I see a mature pic of one 8-12''..Boostens is the only one Ive seen on here that has some potential to be a looker...All the others are very boring looking to me as I look at the all the pics plain,drab colors..They look like farm monos...The last batch went purdy quick aswell so he will get more and the price will go even higher.IMO just a really expensive mono...I love Cichla AND WANT ONE BAD BUT I wanna see what they turn out to be...IT would suck if they turned out to be nothing.....PAUL i wanna seed some updated pics bro....

we seen plenty in his own threads... this is not a thread to knock jeffs kelberis nor is it a thread to advertise ocellaris! kelberi talk only and back on topic please.... if you dont like kelberis or you don't feel like waiting to see how they develop then don't post negative comments or a change of subject here please.
