its hard to tell when you can't see the white spots.. temps over 85 ich can't live in really but it could be in some dormant state.. a lot of people are all about quarantine .. i had a situation where a payara with no signs of ich started showing signs/white spots a few days later after i bought him and really badly .. the ich actually killed my black aro.. but these are smaller fish I'm talking about
Damn that sucks ALOT.... Black aros are expensive fish! I guess if mine had Ich it would've been showing by now right? I had him in 82-83 degree water for the first 3 or 4 days and he did look pretty colourful and healthy looking when he was in the original owners tank so do you maybe think he's just dicoloured because he's still stressed? I can't see to find any white spots on him. He hides alot now in a corner of the tank I have covered in artificial plants but he never stays motionless on the bottom but he's still very darkly coloured. and rarely shows his nice green colour, and my oscar, goldfish, and other fish are doing wonderful. You think maybe adding more hides would be good?
