Kelberi peacock bass tank size?

ok im seeing now(maybe) , slightly less beefy , kelberi , laying low in the 4500

not big tanks is always the answer. i kept 2 kelberis perfectly fine in a 90g even 120's just depends on the individual fish.

How big were the kelberis? I have a full grown one and theres no way you would advocate keeping a full grown one in a 90 or a 120g

not all kelberi grow huge my pair maxed out at a small size. they were perfectly fine in a 90g and i bred cichla in 120 gallon tanks. not all cichla grow huge and need a monster size tank.

I think a lot of stores, including the most reputable ones, make wrong IDs on peacock bass very regularly and that leads to a lot of confusion.. any pics of your 17” kel?
