Kelberi Spangling question

I was wondering around what size kelberis get that nice gold spangling all over their bodys?
and also when did your kelberis get that spangling?

generally for peacock bass they start getting their color around 5-6 and about an inch or two later they get their spangles my temensis is about 6 1/2 and its just starting to show its spangles

I only have two and they are my first two.I got them at 3.5 inches one is has alot one has not many at all both are around 8 inches so i think it reakky depends on the fish.Also when they mature who knows it could be the other way.That i will find out in time.

Kelberis are the slowest developing bass. You have to be patient with them Alex.. You should start seeing some nice spangling around 10-12".

Around 8" is when you start seeing spangling and in some kelbs iu dont see spangling at all sometimes or very very little that it looks like a mono

both of mine are 12" and they're slowly getting some spangling.. but i wanna get them to have that full gold spangling.. is there something you can feed them for better coloring and more spangles?

from what i understand anything shrimp all the dry foods that say color enhansing have shrimp.

My Sharkaquarium and TUIC Kels started to display their spangles at between five and six inches.I have a third kel now from a former member and it is nearing six inches but has yet to display any spangles so far.

I have four kelberi. Two of the males started to show spangling at 6". The female is at 9" and is pretty unkelberi like...I have an unsexxed 7-8"er that just started to develop a single spangle on its anal fin.

Anyone have a female kelberi wtih spangles?

yea one of my kelberi actually developed a single spangle on its anal fin also but it came up at 12"..
