here's some more photos. added 2 more kels. One's just like the others I got via local LFS via RApps. this one's reportedly from a non Rapps US vendor. side fins are particularly red for it's size and compared to earlier kel batch. skinny 6" fish.
the other is just like the 3 "different" looking kels posted earlier, all 5" or so. this one has no anal dots
but good tail spangle. Might add a couple more tomorrow that came in at LFS, that have anal speckling. these fish have clearer eyes by comparison, when seen with naked eye.
so many kels this past 6-8months... think i've seen near 80 different fish at various LFS's over the past few months. from US/EU but prices have not dropped.
LFS claims these "different" looking kels were imported wild caught fish, that came in couple months ago, then grown to this size. middle man in china. News that someone's successfully bred kels in taiwan recently half of which went to china, other half to macau. May be these are them, may be not, haven't seen any at LFS labeled as such to compare.

4; darker olive color and pronounced stress/lateral bars. 2 have anal spangle, 2 dont. all reportedly from same batch. tomorrow i'll look at 2 more with anal spangle at the LFS, new arrival, again from same batch.
1 of the kels is more golden, similar looking to first batch picked up months ago, pictured in first post. the one with red pec. fins
only other two cichla in latest photos are orinos.
