Thanks brother. This bass I posted pics of is probably my favorite bass right now. I believe it's a female. Best part about her is she is a very docile fish. It appears some of the others are taking an interest but who knows. I never bred bass before so I am not experienced in this area of cichla keeping. They are also young bass so I don't think it's possible.

As for their coloration, It might be the combination of the light base and dark background, also, their genes.
