do you ever clean that tank?

Sometimes folks make a post in thread, when they are way out of their league..........this is such a post.

Great vid Reagan. They do look like the are getting close to spawning.

As for the do you ever clean your tanks question. I can understand why someone would just glance at it and assume it has filthy water and they are poorly kept. In actuality it is just the opposite. The water is kept perfectly clean but the glass is not. The fish do not need clean glass and often seem to prefer the algae build up. We are the ones that seem to need the clean glass, not the fish. There are a lot of breeders that do this and most of them are extremely effective so there is definately something to it. Plus when fish spawn the fry seem to do better and have more to graze on in these type of setups.

I would say they will be fry in hobby soon, but never count you fry before they hatch.

Truer words have never been spoken. Everytime I think I'm about to get a good batch of something it never pans out. Then one day out of nowhere I get up to a nice surprise. If only fish would breed when I want them to:).

We have all stuck our keyboard in our mouth a time or two so lets not take it too hard on him. He is here to learn just like the rest of us.

Great looking pikes and great job caring for them!Good luck with the spawn!

Great looking Xingu pike. I hope you do get them bred successfully. I have a pair too and I am just hoping and waiting for some activity. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
