Dana versus Tito ???? I hear Dana was a top Tae-Bo instructer for Billy Blanks(seriously) so Tito better watch out! The real trick is to see if they can get anyone to order this!!!!!! I am still pissed about the Chuck Vanderlei fight falling though, :irked: Overall a good night of UFC!

Dana is an amateur boxer. I've never seen him fight, but he's supposedly pretty good. He has sparred with Tito before back in the day. Tito has improved his standup since then though, and now thinks he will beat Dana now. I personally don't see how Dana would even hang with Tito though. Tito's so much bigger/stronger/more athletic, but we'll see.

Overall, I thought the night was pretty unentertaining. All of the TUF guys that they showed fight on the undercard were really unimpressive. They looked terrible out there. Matt Hammil couldn't stand up and bang to save his life, and his GnP wasn't very impressive, but then again he's only been training mma for 11 months so you can't really expect too much. Kendal looked better, but I'd like to see either of those guys face a decent, like tier 2 level fighter. I thought Ed Herman looked the best, but he got owned. I am hopping on the Jason MacDonald bandwagon now though. He really impressed me last night. I was impressed with his effort though with trying to get out of that triangle. His post fight interview cracked me up though.

The Tito/Ken fight went as expected. Ken got owned quickly. I still enjoyed it though. It was worth watching, and I like seeing them squash their beef afterwords.

Can't wait to see the Chuck/Tito title match this winter now. We'll see if Tito really has improved enough since the last time the fought to beat him. I'm still putting my money on Chuck though. If Randy couldn't take him down/keep him down for the GnP, I don't see how Tito can do it, and with the way Chuck has fighting, I just can't really see him losing.

Very sad display. I'm not sure which was worse, seeing an old fighter get beat one last time or titos shameful lack of class.

I disagree. I didn't think Tito's class was very bad. He did his whole gravedigger routing and put on the shirt, but that's his thing. He did apologize for it afterwords and admit that he just did it for entertainment purposes. It makes sense, and in one of his locker room interviews Ken even said that he knew that that's how the game works and that there was nothing wrong with Tito doing that kind of stuff. He basically said that Tito is still in the middle of his career and should still have that competetive drive and that the antics were all part of that.

Here's a link to Tito's sherdog interview...

Overall, I think they both handled the situation very well.

I was glad to see them officialy settle it with class at the very end, I still think the whole thing was a work, But like Ken said to Tito in the ring " hey man, we've made a lot of money together !" I have always appreciated Tito's entertainment value, he is one of my favorites even when he is beat down, but Chuck is just looking like an animal ! I wonder how Tito can win ? GnP will be tough if randy couldn't do it ?? We'll see ??!!! I thought it was funny that everyone was making "nobody's stepping stone" comments about Ed Herman ! That choke was TIGHT!!!!! I don't mind rookies pounding on the TUF guys, hey it's a fight! When they toss "stepping stones" to their "darlings" (don't get me wrong they deserve to be fighting! ) I always like the "suprise it's gonna be a real fight this time" matches! Do you think Kendall Grove Versus M,Shwick is around the corner?? HOw far away is Diego from a title shot??

Yeah, I hear you about the stepping stone thing. They hype these TUF guys up way too much most of the time. Jason MacDonald has been a stud in Canada though. He was a terrible choice if they were looking for a stepping stone for Ed.

I sure hope they don't pair Kendal up with Mike Swick. Swick would throw Kendall the worst beating of his life. I don't think Mike's a level up from Kendall. Kendall just has not really impressed me yet, and I think he'd get worked if he faced a decent opponent.

I think Diego needs a couple more fights before he gets a title shot too. With the exception of Karo Perisyan, he hasn't really faced anyone at that top, contender/champion level. I do think that with a fight or two more under his belt, he will get a shot (assuming he wins against whoever they pair him with). I don't think he's ready for Matt Hughes now though. They both have similar wrestling/GnP styles, and I think Matt's more skilled in both of those categories. How about a Diego vs. B.J. match-up? ...see how Diego holds his own against the top contender and then think about a title shot for him.

I don't think Kendall or Diego are ready either! Diego will probably have to at least fight someone like Joe Riggs? Hughes owns the belt, lets see if he can beat stpierre again!!

Yeah, I'm rootin for Hughes. I think it will be the best fight of the year.

And I think that the next welterweight title challenger (other than GSP) should have to beat B.J. He was looking real impressive that last fight. If Matt didn't hurt his rib, who knows what would havve happened.
