Kens no carb fish food

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thank you for all the replies. pending my fish eating the order when it arrives, which im almost positive they will, i think ill find myself a loyal customer of kens. he even offers pond/koi foods which my goldies have been eating:)

seems theres a good variety of foods, that will cover everything i want for a good diet. good staples and nice specialties..... i would venture to imagine that almost everything he offers is of decent quality??? the price sure as heck cant be beat.

Absolutely. I've bought from him in person before at fish shows/auctions. So, I've seen his entire lineup on tables. I've never seen any signs that would indicate some of the foods aren't as good as others.

received my order today, and low and behold............my fish ate it, and dident seem to have any issues with either food. he even sent me a free sample of krill-spirulina-something else-flakes which my goldies devoured without hesitation. :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

im ABSOLUTELY pleased with the sheer size of the 7.5mm pellet. its perfect for my large oscar and pacu's. pretty much seems a little larger than any of the other pelleted foods ive seen. quality seems exactly like i would have expected with any good-grade commercial food. wasent oily, or crumbly, not many broken/dusted pieces. was even packed and shipped very nicely :)

Ken has himself another customer i do believe. ill definatly be trying his specialty and koi foods now for all my other fish, and would probobly reccomend other people do, barring my fish dont die of malnutrition in a month *knock on wood*

Glad to hear you're pleased! One of the things I love most about his flakes is that the flakes are HUGE, giving you the flexibility to tailor your flake size to the fish eating them.

Your fish definitely won't die of malnutrition. I've been feeding Ken's for years, and I have silver dollars going on 15 years old now. :) The geriatrics still spawn, too.

He's been really expanding his inventory of other supplies, as well. His prices are definitely competitive.

Would you say the 7.5mm pellets is bigger than the Hikari Gold/Staple large pellets? I bought the 5 or 5.5. mm a while ago and those seemed like the same size as the Hikari Med. My fish love Ken's food.

its honestly been awhile since ive purchased hikari foods. just became too expensive with the way my pacu eat. from what i do remember, the 7.5mm from kens are definatly a bit larger than anything else ive seen. i could be wrong however.......
