Thanks sir, not all cichlids are stone cold killers lol My hets here are pretty peaceful so far and do well in groups. I'm more of a peaceful cichlid guy now, and if I do have an aggressive species I keep them alone.

I wouldnt call these hets from cota aggressive but they are definitely different from the group i got from wetspot. Way less timid (other than the 1st few days) they beg for food like little oscars and bicker with eachother lol

Yeah mine too haha really enjoying them so far. Mine have some pretty similar temperament tank mates, I'll post video tonight after water change.

My salvini was a monster, glad I got him sold. Peaceful sounds much easier :)

I have heard good things about kribs, plus my knives will sort out fry easily. A splash of colour :)

Would love to keep kribs someday myself. Them with some congo tetras would look really nice.

There are a lot of them here. I want to try 1m 3f harem or something. I like to have fish I see during the day. Congos are awesome but expensive.

My LFS had some HUGE Congos, must have been 4 or 5 inches and deep for 30USD each roughly. Pretty cool but even small ones are expensive for me

Kribs are pretty much my only option for cichlids since anything that isn't rift lake or a krib is super hard to find. I wish we had a service like COTA or TUIC here

The only problem I see with kribs is that they like the bottom part of the tank, and polys are bottom dwellers also, so if they do spawn they might chase off the polys... you just never know.

I'm aware of that, the knives will clear fry overnight I'm telling you. And that's IF I get polys

The poly forum members will shun you if you choose another fish over a poly you know. And if you keep teasing us like this with no clues!
They will love what I'm getting I'm sure :p

I'm just waiting on the supplier to get back to me. It's from Africa as well, I can't hint too much
