we were collecting fish alright, but not the mahseer
we were in search of some
glyptothorax,
then the garra surendranathanai,
then some carinotetraodon sp.
we also found a channa which was quite similar looking to the channa orientalis
this is also the place where the well known etroplus canarensis is found.
not a kelah sanctuary
here the people fish and eat mahseers and as well sell them, but right now they are avoiding fishing as the affluents from a nearby govt factory was poisoning the fish
