kid pool pond?

just found this. Run-off water from a nearby stream, or collected rainwater may contain toxic insecticides, herbicides or fertilizers. Rainwater from metal roofs or asbestos shingles will contaminate the pond and may prove toxic to both the fish, and the plants. If the fish display signs of toxicity, execute a 50% water change and/or remove the fish to safe quarters, or a hospital tank until the water has been changed.

Did you ever get this pool? I'm thinking of getting one but I'm worried that the sides will collapse.

I did this on my house . It worked fine for but I toke it down cause my rtc died

It very "natural" looking hard to take a nice picture of it. I'm waiting for rain to fill it up more. It came with a filter but not using it yet. The guppies or multiplying like crazy, have also several species of snail, bull frog tadpoles, ghost shrimp, crayfish, my plants ( arrow head, lilly pads, water lettuce, salvinia, pond weed etc. and many insects (diving beetles, caddisflies, dragonflies etc. I am surprise the 100 plus temperatures in such shallow water hasn't killed everything, it is partly shaded.

Now wondering if i can leave it out for winter for the plants and micro organisms. Will freezing destroy the pool? anything i can do to keep the pool from being destroyed and still leave it out?
