My local target has $150 kiddie pools for sale for $44. So I thought I could put it in my back yard and put some heavy filtration on it. I need to know if anyone has done this. And will the pool tip over?.

ive always wondered the same thing i dont see why it wouldnt work the only thing id be skeptical about is the sides of the pool stretching out if theyre that rubber/plastic stuff
Which one? Can you send a link/ maybe I can force my target to sell to me for that price too...
These pools were made for KIDS to play in that should be enough said. Also made to withstand 3 season weather. after the first year I would question the plastic's integrity. In metal sided plastic linered pools the plastic gets stiff and inflexable after couple of years. Of course with the amount of sun we get its no wonder. These pools with the blow-up ring at the top haven't been around long enough to have a history yet.
Yoe need to protect them from under w/ carpeting and makes a good weed stop around edge too.
A couple are being used as temp indoor ponds on here, too.
Even at $45 year that's not bad for a pond.
Oh, and stay away from them with a weed whip.

this i an 8' easy set pool that holds 750 gallons of water it is setup in my basement has been set up for five months no problems at all its ghetto but my arowana and other big fish love it...
What would be the purpose of a pond like the one you have there Rottbo, because you can't even see the fish? Unless you use it as a growout tank.
