kiddie pools as ponds. What type should i look for?

ok then what about the inflateable ones with the dubble tube on the outside thats like 18 inch deep
?I could always use a thrownet over the top of the pool to keep the fish in

those should be OK. I have seen people use them as TEMPORARY koi holding ponds. they key word there is TEMPORARY though.

for me word is sell a ****load of fish. or manage to save what i got for atleast the summer time. And buy my 300 gal stock bin when i get the money. What else could be used? Besides the stock bins.

What types of material is used in liners for ponds Besides rubber. I may be able to get some of the roofing rubber they use on comecial buildings like males and stuff. But my worry is if i use this and make standard yard pond not being able to filter it. I have no real pond filter and planned on useing bunch of my tank filters. On the kiddie pool . Come on people lets come up with some ideas here

Try it out and see if they die from the chemicals.

I know a few guys who said it was "safe" although i have never tried it.

Test it out for us.

Go to a local feed/farm store and see what they price plastic ?trofts? at. Local feed store here sales 150 gallon trofts for roughly $70-80.

i can get the metal 300 gal thats 8 foot long for like 150 around here money tight now tho. since i had to move and everything

IMO, If you can't spend $150 for just the housing the fish properly then scrap the idea. But I'd go with what Caveman said. The Water troughs are the way to go. Get plastic and not metal.
