Kids Who Miss Homework No Longer Get Zeros

Times like this make me glad to live in the most intelligent state in the U.S...:)
 
It's not even A for effort, you don't even need that anymore...next thing they will be giving second chances at spelling bees or just saying "that's close enough".
 
so it's also making it hard for potential employees to spot the slackers from the people who work hard. lol Funny story.
 
Teacher here... This is another everyone deserves a chance to be a winner crap... So that way we all feel like crap because winning means nothing... How about they pass because they do the work... or fail and learn that sucks so they try harder... No do less... I can see the future... Was this an idea of the communists? Are they pretending to have ended the cold war and the trick is to let America win itself into failure.

I agree with MD. This is one of those things where parents and teachers won't compromise a child's confidence no matter the level of failure. Be a good parent. Don't let your kid win at card games. Don't defend them in their failures. Failure is a part of life. If you don't teach a child to deal with it, they will quit at the first sign of adversity. That will make them irritating bastards, just like most of them are now.

I have classrooms filled with kids that I have to teach how to work hard and succeed. They have been pasted so often that give up when something is hard... so lets make all kids give up... great lets just change our name to "Throw in the Towel"...
