Hey all, I've been a member on this site for some time now, but this will be my first post. I've always wanted to keep frontosa, I find them to be among the most beautiful of the cichlids. So I emptied my old 100gal setup, and set up a temporary home for the fronts I picked up recently. The 100gal isn't a permenant home, as I know they need a 6' footprint, but I figure it's a good start till I can scrape together the extra cash after christmas. Anyways, on to the pics!
Some of what used to be in the tank:
And what's there now:
Altolamp Compressiceps and Calvus are just about my 2nd favorite cichlid. so I had to have some of those as well! After christmas I'll be looking at a 240gal tank to properly house these fellas, as well as cutting down the front population to a more managable 10-12, hopefully breeders!
Thanks for looking!
