What's it's Common name? Whilst I understand the need for the latin names (scientifically), I think in a day to day context it's a little pretentious to use it. Also how many folks on here actually speak Latin?:ROFL:

Yes I know this, but since latin is not a native language (okay I took it at school 10 years ago for a year) it's hard to spell and confusing. Common names at least, okay sometimes there are 2-3, at least it's english...:ROFL:

I personally would want a latin name FIRST than a common name.. its lazy me

googling up a latin name is soooooo much faster than googling up a common name that would just take too much detective work.


google + latin name = happy lazy me.
