hrmm, I will do that..I only have a little space at the back thats open but I will pick up some egg crate...so far they haven't paid any attention to it they kind of stay at the front of the tank at the bottom.
Check your info on breeding they are plant spawners not annuals. You do not need to dry the eggs. I have several pairs of them. You will need to remove the eggs to a different tank because they will eat the young and the eggs for that matter. Place a spawning mop (use what ever you like they aren't particular) and feed some live food (gets them in the mood). Wait a couple of days and remove when you see the eggs.
I've never had success with the moist peat in the bag method, eggs always got fungus and died. I use the two tank method and just remove the adults or the mop. Good luck and let us know which one worked for you.
