kimbo's next fight

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I love kimbo,he's actually training with alot of different martial arts right now to increase his abilities, for a street fighter he's doing great so far. He'll just get better and better as time goes on and he learns really fast so thats always a plus.

At the moment, he is the goose that lays the golden eggs for the producers. I bet that he will probably have 4 fights a year maybe more due to the fact that he is popular. I just hope that one of the mediocre fighters that are lined up against him takes a lucky punch that immediately knocks him cold.

Its called MMA for a reason and that means more than one ability. I kind feel the same way with Brock Lesnar. these popular guys should immediately be pitted against an average guy that hurts them so bad that it brings them back to zero and therefore becomes sort of a push to be better at martial arts and to not rely entirely to their strength. Lesnar said that he had been training for a year for his fight ad look at what happened. Mir held on to his ankles and what did he do? Tried to do the same ankle lock without the ability to correctly execute it...

Money talks as usual...

Wow, if I remember there was a thread like this once, everyone had jumped on tank abbot's bandwagon, siting kimbo's ground game and that it was weak. Kimbo ko'd tank hard that fight, dropped him one punch. I've been watching his street fights for at least 3 years now. I think he's got this fight, I haven't heard about his manager lining up easy fights but he just destroys whoever it is.

^Thank you,and actually kimbo's really been getting good with his ground game,he trains hard and fights great,But of course there's gona be people bagging on him,he's like ryan sheckler in skateboarding, bagged on by alot of people who just really have seen him a few times

"destroys whoever it is" exacty my point. Fighters he fights are "whoevers" in the MMA world. I have also watched all of Kimbo's fights and what are they all about? Punches and nothing more. The guy can definitely punch and strong as an ox but once the game is no longer about punches and no longer in an upright position, he will definitely succumb to a loss.

I mean who are we to judge that he is getting better at his ground game? We've never seen him in a match wherein he utilized ground game offense or defense. the way I see it, he is still a punching monster and that's about it until I am proven wrong.

A punching monster that I have my money behind, look at chuck liddel's career dude, when is the last time you saw him submit someone seriously, I really like mui thai, kickboxing, and some wrestling background fighters, what chuck liddel, rampage, rich franklin, they aren't people you norally associate with jujitsu but I belive they have left there mark and are not whoever's. Jujitsu is good for what its worth but in the real world you can have it. I'll take mui thai anyday.

kimbo is lame, Sean Gannon kicked his ass pretty hard...and thats even after stupid rules like "no knees" and "no taking it to the ground" where added during the fight.

Make him fight Bob Sapp that I might watch.

What I'm saying is that Slice should prove himself against "able" or proven fighters in order to prove himself just like what the fighters listed above has shown.
