Kind of urgent help with well water

I also have well water. Mine is high in Iron so I had to refill the iron filter since the media was almost used up. In addition I ordered a small filter that hooks up to my laundry room sink and has two filter compartments. I fill both with carbon which is how it comes. You can change the inserts cheaply if you want to. The unit was only $55.00 and I have never had an issue since I began using it about a year ago. I also add some Aquasafe just in case any other heavy metals are present. The website for the filter company is http://www.pwgazette.com/gardenhosefilters.htm

I recently moved from the country, the area I lived in had ALOT of iron in the water. Tub/sinks were bright orange with stains. I did use the water for my rays...no other options at the time. The water would stay cloudy in the tank for a couple of days after a w/c (didn't smell real good either), but then the filters would clear it up. I did add an inline filter...didn't do much good. Have it tested if you don't have a kit. At the time, I had Reticulata pups (fairly delicate) they did fine. Hope it works out for you.
