my bps turn black when they are stressed like when the water params are going out of wack, and i am due for a waterchange, so i'm am pretty sure if u keep your water good, and your fish isn't stressed then it will prolly turn orange

I rehomed this fella a while ago, but I don't believe water conditions had anything to do with this perticular fishes color. My water conditions are maintained very well. In this scenerio it was a total mutt and the blotching was infact just its coloration.
I prefer a shorter body type on bp's but I really like the color. Even for a calico bp this one has really nice markings.
It was just so different. And its personality was similar to that of a tiny drunken irishman. Maybe that's why I kept him I could totally relate in that manor

Thanks bully fish, not everything has to be textbook perfect. in my book that's just too damn american! Hail to the freaks and oddballs! If it weren't for people liking weird things my wife wouldn't have picked me. Hahaha
