Wow petsmart? Petsmart can suprise you sometimes. youll see the most common fish ever but an amazing specimen of that fish. Im sure we have all been there. Seen that one oscar bright red, that one creamsicle midas, that one amazing had to have insanely colored common fish. It happens. This one was from a local mom and pop store but maybe some distributor is now carrying these red colored ones. So i would snatch em up if youve been wanting a jd why not get a unique one.

She looks like she is still stressed but the black bar patterning is odd. Where do you find all these oddball jds?

You know theyve been coming in lately in most lfs. I was at another lfs yesterdy and they have the red headed ones too. I guess the wholesaler just has these now. Can someone tell me whats up with her? She has no spangles. Never seen that before.

All of my O's are from Petsmart, yes I know they are common but they were the best that I saw when looking around. Most of the time the petsmart/petco stuff is pretty bland and well, all too common but every once in a while they get some nice looking fish in.

That being said, only my O's, my stunted convict and common pleco are from petsmart; everything else I get from a smaller lfs.
