Kissing fish or Angry fish????

I plan to have about 15-20. The only thing is at this current time the LFS is out of the chiclids I would like to buy. They will be getting a new shipment sometime next week. Walmart also gets new fish tomorrow so maybe if they have some bigger fish i will get those

I would be ver carefull about getting fish from a place like Walmart. The fish often carry diseases that can infect your whole tank before you realize what's going on. I'm assuming you probably don't have a "quarentine" tank set up yet.

haha not to worry I get them before they are even out of the bags. They are from a local distibutor about 200 miles from my home I guess. I get them as soon as they come off the truck. There is no walmart water involved haha.

I do have a 10 gal tank set up but its not the greatest. Currently I have two broke heaters haha. The one I got with my 46 doesnt seem to turn on and heat the water enough. The other is a lil old 10 gal heater that has been running for years. It is currently stuck on and never stops heating but being that the tank is to large for this heater it holds a steady 75-77 deg.
I am currently saving for a new heater. This also means that my 10 gal tank currently doesnt have a heater so in a sense yea you are right i do not have a QT. O well i am a little strapped for cash right now so this lil bitty 10 gallon heater is working overtime.
