Kitchenaid stand mixer

Wow. Color me surprised. I've got an ancient one and it's a BEAST. Doesn't even slow down on stuff that makes the little hand mixer get hotter than the hubs of hades.

Must be a defective one because mine powers thru bread dough without a hitch. Is there a warranty?

I got it today. I followed a recipe for wheat bread and while it was kneading with the hook thing it started smoking.

Call the company they have amazing warranties. Or they may be informed that someone is making a knock off of their product.
