It is true. I couldn't drink tea as a child because my parents only used the mass-produced stuff and it tasted like pee. Of course, they also put about a pound of sugar into each 32oz. mug they drank throughout the day. And that's what they did to their own bodies. I don't know how I managed to survive on burned meat loaf and macaroni starch... Anyway, I grew up and figured out that most American food is just salt and sugar, and began to seek actual flavor. I found that good quality unsweetened Green Tea is amazing. Until I tried better, I only thought of tea as that brown water that made me feel sick if I drank it.
And I love kittens and, rarely, bacon. Especially the talking kittens.
