I wanna thank all you of guys for your quick and helpful responses.
Yesterday arvo I put him down. Guillotine style. Didn’t want him to suffer. Big fish so as you can imagine it was hard to see him go, but you could tell from the white mush coming out of his pores that He had enough..
I will throw out anything that he has touched in the Quarantine tank and be mindful of the main display. Hopefully it won’t affect the smaller blood parrots, they are moving to a bigger home soon so I’ll be monitoring them.

You should euthanize all the fish that were ina tank with him and start over. Columnaris is bad and sticks around unless you bleach it gone.

Update:


It’s been 3 weeks and the rest of the pack looks to be doing fine. I’ve been doing 40% water changes twice a week. Replaced the airline tubing and sponge filter.

Will be watching them closely but there was no way I was flushing the whole pack of over $700

Will do another update soon. You guys are a great help.
