they're a catfish, so don't bother looking under knifefish info. They're not all that readily available, but any decent LFS should be able to get them for you, as the distributors almost always have them on their lists. As for price, it varies widely depending on where they were collected, size, color, and time of year. My little Ompok was $12.99 at about 4", and we have a Wallago at work now that's $39.99--he's 14" or so.
my local petco has ompok for 9.99. You want something real nice, find Micronema apogon. Bigger than ompok, not as big as the Wallago's. Predatory, but not gonna cause any problems. I keep mine with fish 1/2 its size, no problem. Beautiful, hangs out where you can see him, mid-level in the water, not on the bottom not hiding.

Ompok bimaculatus (butter catfish) to 18", temperment-peaceful, disposition-hungry, they eat anything that fits in their mouth. here is a good species profile http://www.scotcat.com/factsheets/ompok_bimaculatus.htm

expect to pay $40-$60 for a 6" specimen. They will eat meaty foods (frozen prawn, smelt) cut into chunks. They are from SE Asia.
