It was hard to find out any info on it. It was sold to me as a Centipede Knife, but when i finally got a look at it, I relized thats not what it was. i had to ask for help from a frined who has had tons of experience with Knife fish, and all I knew was that it was related to the Glass Knife (Similiar characteristics). And thats when we found out that it was a Eigenmannia humboldtii. Very little info on it. All I know is that it gets to be 12 inches+.
i know what your talking about trying to find information on rare knives.. i went through alot trying to find info on this guy...but i finally talked to a professor of miami college who gave me ID... unfortunatly i lost him after 6 months... from the wild he had a bacterial infection.. and very difficult to treat fragile knife as this one..
