Knife fish people!

I just recently purchased my first knife: a (now) 5" ABK. Not as interesting to look at as the royals, but he's the right size for the tank he's in. Mine's shy, but when he's out, I love watching him swim.

I remember My first knifefish. I deathed out my tank (turned everything black) and got some dimmer lighting and he was out all the time. But afew months later my wolffish killed him was a really sad day

Yeah dude he looks awesome! I really like how the royals are so shinny and the stripes are really cool. I think that would be the next one I get But is there any other knife you would rather have insted of you royal? or is the royal the way to go?

For me, royals are the only way to go. Mine is the only one iv ever seen in person. As far I know there not nearly as common as regular cks. But maybe that's just my area and lfs.

This is my first ck I've had him since he was about 3 in now he is over a foot. Awesome fish to watch.
