Knife fish size help

So i have a 200g tank and i'd like to put a knife fish in there because i think they are cool i will also have about 18 polypterus in there.... so as you can guess it can't be small. I am looking for a large sized knife fish that will fit in a 6'x2'x26" footprint comfortably. I'd also like a knife fish that isn't aggressive. Thanks for reading

Oh ok well then i guess that one is a no lol. I researched a bit and saw a knife fish that looked like it was mixed with and elephant nose (of course they are nothing close to related) I was wondering if anyone had any info on how big they got?

Can i keep a clown knife? I've read that clown knives in captivity only get to around the 20-24" mark?

I have a Black Ghost Knife he is super mellow and easy to hand feed, they can get up to 20inchs long but he gets along just fine with my to Polys and he would enjoy a tank your size. Mine loves blood worms and ghost shrimp as well as sinking pellets.

I'm also kinda looking for something a little more exotic something you can't really just walk in to a petsmart and see in the tank, i've also heard they can be aggressive.

Nope. I do not care WHAT people say. Until i see A photo or proof BGK only get 15 inches or less in captivity unless wild caught. My LFS has a 10 year old one in a 750 gallon and is still only 13 inches. I have kept BGK for about 6 years now and know quite a bit...

Get a short body Clown Knife they are not in petsmart LOL! Or carapo knife are peaceful IMO. Grey ghost knife... AFRICAN KNIFE ARE BEST WITH BICHIRS CAUSE THEY COME FROM MOSTLY SAME WATERS...
