try a Papyrocranus afer or an aba aba...but i warn you these guys are a little agressive..and the aba aba gets to about 3 ft. in an aquarium environment...

here's an old old thread about some uncommon knifefish..these knives are pretty nice hope this helps....

I've heard of the aba abas before, but I'm not sure what they look like. Just a little aggressive? I want aggressive, that's why I'm on MFK It would help if I could find the link to the thread. Did you put it in the message?

Get a clown knife or royal clown knife then. They look amazing, are quite hardy, eat most meaty foods and get pretty big ... a good beginner knife IMHO (cos I'm a beginner and I could manage them )

My clown knife is in water with ph of 8.0 and is fine.
declor. and trace salt is all I use when making new water.
mine is spoiled on goldfish will not eat anything else.
I bought at 12" already hooked on goldfish.
doesn't like cons or grey/pink comets(no orange,I guess)
It eats about 8-12 everyday !
I use 100 in 4 days.(sharing with Red Devils too)
