Knife fish eventually become ray food. They can produce electrical fields which the rays are totally designed to home in on. Its only a matter of time .

Agree ! I had a beautiful over 30cm BGK fish that was living nicely with my 7 rays (30-40cm each) a couple of years, up to the day I had to remove the woods from the tank which exposed him to the rays. It took them a while before attacking him. I was able to get him out of the tank alive, but he did not survive much after. I believe he was attacked by the motoros.

I have now a much smaller BGK with a 28cm flower ray and the ray is much less aggresive. So, for flower rays it may work better....

from what I have seen, BGK are slower than CK and there for cant get away as fast if they need to. I have both. Got them both on the same day as a matter a fact. My BGK lives in our 75 gallon angel tank and our CK now lives in one of the ray tanks. He was in a 65 gallon tall tank till I decided he was finally big enought to go into the ray tank 4 month ago. So far so good in the ray tank.
