OK...
I'm a teacher and experianced fishkeeper. My classroom is full of tanks, and they are spreading throughout the school.
This year I would like to do something eye catching with my 180 that currently houses large cichlids in a bare bottom tank. This tank is the first one noticed when people enter the room and I want it to have a wow factor. I'm sure I could come up with a plan all by myself, but I figure sharing the fun with some MFK members might be nice.
please remember this is in a classroom in Florida so nothing dangerous, skiddish (like a giant ID shark that bashes around in the middle of class), or Illegal in Florida will work.
I am happy to keep a bare tank, but would also be happy for something that would allow for aquascaping.
currently the room holds a 2.5g planted neon tank, a 12x10g rack (to be filled this fall), 70g reef tank, 180g (subject of current thread), 125g rift lake cichlids, 65g planted.
now, let the fun begin and the ideas fly.....
