Just wondering about quality and development in Koi.
The pond is not huge so I'm sticking with 3 Koi and a Tandanus Catfish, this makes choosing koi more important.
I'm wondering about the Sanke/Showa types and their development.
Can I buy a cheaper one like this for $175 @ 17cm + shipping,
And will it develop into a nice fish? Or will it never be anywhere near these,

Honestly, just get the type you like the most, from what i know they have been breeding koi for centuries so are prety good at predicting the future potential and price them accordingly.
