I don't understand how that proves that a mirror makes the kok bigger and not the tank size/filtration?
I just said what worked for me. You just showed pics of your tank without a fish even in it.
If its the fish you just posted in the hybrid forum then thats the 3rd-4th flowerhorn I have seen you have in the past 3-4 months, how can you have all those in a 125? And furthermore how could you have any conclusive proof that the horn grows form teh mirror? Couldn't it just be the fact that your flowerhorn is growing and maturing since they were all still not adults?
My example was of a flowerhorn that was a year and a half old (2 years this mothers day) and the hump was bigger when I moved him from a 55 to a 75 with more filtration after he was completely acclimated and comfortable. And I even stated how I tried a few other methods like other fish in the tank that he would beat up (that didn't help at all, and it is the very essence of the mirror mentality), the mirror trick, and different foods from new life spectrum cichlasoma, hikari, OSI, and azoo. He is on a steady diet of aquarian brand large cichlid pellets and he looks just as good as before.
I guess I just don't follow your "flawless" logic.
