KONY 2012 - Scam / Propaganda or Real Cause for the Children?

I totally agree on the helping the children, but according to this article, Kony or his rebel children haven't been seen in N. Uganda since 06' the same year the found oil there. It does seem kinda strange to me to that we are now just hearing about it and are finally doing something about it. The Ugandan people dont even want our "help".

As i mentioned before, im in PR and after i saw the whole thing i could only think of how well made it was for the target they were trying to reach...

But as mentioned above it really seems all too coincidental and the fact they purposely targeted people that would make this viral without too much question adds to it all imo...

It is interesting to think where he is. Even though most reports say he hasn't been in Uganda since '06, others say he's now in Sudan and other neighboring countries.

But all of these reports are heresay, from unknown sources and they cannot be verified. Guess it just adds to the mystery.

Not sure if this has been covered or not as I could only skim the above comments, but Invisiblechildren has been cited multiple times as having a terrible, terrible charitable record. Their funds are generally misappropriated and something like 1/3 of the money that goes into their org actually makes it back out. The rest is going to salaries and videos like the aforementioned viral one.
