The first cichlid has been removed from the equation entirely as a friend wanted it as a centerpiece fish for his tank with mostly larger tetras.
That leaves 4 K. xinguensus in the 75 with the rasboras. Is this a good number or should I try to increase/decrease?
Yes, I realize the rasbora would not occur with the K. xinguenis in the wild. However, I really dislike the behavior of tetras that are large enough not to get eaten and don't keep them any more. These particular rasbora are the complete opposite of larger tetra so I am keeping them. As much as I appreciate biotope tanks, I don't find tanks with larger tetras calming and peaceful to watch.
