cool fish.. i was thinking of picking up a spotted climbing perch for 35$.. u ever had any of them?like em?

How do you keep the bottom of your tanks so clean. In my c. micropeltes tank i've gone bare bottom but with a center piece (geo rock with a plant in it), do you vacuum the bottom everyday? All the pics i've seen of your tanks the bottom is spotless. I'm thinking of buying a powerhead or something to blow all the poop to one corner.

all my tanks have canister-filers that intake from the bottom of the tank/tub ... like .25 inch from the bottom....

no water change - 24/7 new water dripping
no vaccumming - the cannister filer

all i need is a auto feeding machine then all i do is watch the fish....

That's Ctenopoma acutirostre. Totally different fish that usually comes in real small for $10 or so in my area.

Li's fish are the rare and protected Siniperca scherzeri. We're talking big bucks here! :eek:
 
Thanks for the info Li, I just installed a surface skimmer for my tank but it doesn't reach the bottom. I think i'll attack a hose to the bottom of it so it goes al the way to the botto..

After seeing your perch i really want one. I saw one the ohter day for abt 5bux US.
